Havenmonitor 2009: De economische betekenis van Nederlandse zeehavens
Voor de tweede maal hebben de onderzoekers van RHV bv. de economische betekenis van de Nederlandse zeehavens vastgesteld in opdracht van de Nationale Havenraad. In dit onderzoek is de economische betekenis per zeehaven voor wat betreft werkgelegenheid en toegevoegde waarde vastgesteld, zowel in directe als indirecte zin. Aanvullend zijn gegevens over private investeringen, productiviteit en aantal bedrijfsvestigingen gegeven. De data in het onderzoek zijn een must voor iedereen die zich met de bestudering van de Nederlandse havens bezig houdt. Relevant is voorts dat deze zeehavenmonitor de impact van de economische crisis die volgende op de 'Credit crunch' in kaart brengt—een crisis die zeer sterk in de zeehavens werd gevoeld.

Port monitor 2009: The Economic impact of Dutch seaports
For the second year, researchers of RHV bv have produced the economic impact of the different Dutch seaports for the Dutch National Ports Council. The economic impact of each individual seaport with respect to employment and added value has been calculated, both the direct and indirect economic impact. In addition, relevant data on private investment, productivity and the number of firms in the different Dutch seaports are presented. The data in the Port monitor 2009 are a must for all researchers interested in the development of Dutch seaports. Especially relevant for the 2009 edition is the presentation of the impact of the global economic crisis, following the credit crunch of 2008—this crisis had a heavy impact on the port industry in the Netherlands.
