SmartPort Community lunchmeeting March 21st, 2017 12.00-13.30
Location: T09-67
Time: 12.00-13.30
Speaker: Ruud Vossebeld
CV: Ruud Vossebeld (1963), who studied Econometrics at Tilburg University, worked 10 years for automotive companies like DAF Trucks and Nissan Europe and moved then into the IT and supply chain software business. He is now active as Director Business Development for INFORM, a logistics optimization software company in Aachen, where he looks after global automotive logistics with customers like Toyota, VW, BMW, Daimler and Ford. The automotive industry looks continuously for the next level of efficiency and the latest focus is to learn how automotive transport can be streamlined further. Car transporters should check if they can open up their empty capacities (40% empty in some places in the world) for other sectors and team up with global non automotive players. It can be a large step to support the Climate Initiatives.
