Three Take-off grants for academic entrepeneurs in humanities and social sciences
Take-off, a science program to encourage and support business and entrepreneurship, has granted three projects which will start shortly. One of the grants is for the projects of ERIM fellow Prof. dr. ir. Rommert Dekker.
The academic entrepreneurs get up to 40,000 euros to investigate whether it is feasible to develop products and services to include education and business, based on knowledge and expertise of researchers from the humanities and social sciences. The project of Dekker will examine whether a scientific model can support the planning of temporary employees in responding to short-term demand fluctuations and thus productivity and maximize operating results.
