Assistant Professor Pamala Wiepking Winner of the 2016 AFP Award


Assistant Professor Pamala Wiepking of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) Department of Business-Society Management is winner of the 2016 Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Early Career Emerging Scholars Award.

Members of the selection committee cited Wiepking’s outstanding scholarship related to fundraising and philanthropy.

As recipient of the award she receives a commemorative certificate and the opportunity to contribute an article related to her current research in AFP’s magazine Advancing Philanthropy. The editor, Jackie Boice has asked to use this article as a feature in an upcoming magazine.

ERIM is proud of Wiepking’s contributions to research in this field and commends her for great work.

Assistant Professor Pamala Wiepking

Dr. Wiepking is a member of the editorial board for the International Journal of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Marketing, and founding member on the board of the European Research Network on Philanthropy (ERNOP). She also functions as Vice President of Regional Associations for ICSERA, the International Council of Voluntarism, Civil Society, and Social Economy Researcher Associations. Furthermore, she is a member of the research committee of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute, based at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. As part of community service, Pamala is board member of the Dutch Fundraising Institute (IF). Pamala teaches at RSM on the topic of methodology of business research.
