On December 11th, behavioural economist Dr Jan Stoop of Erasmus School of Economics was awarded the prestigious Pierson Medal of the Mr. N.G. Pierson Fonds, during the annual meeting of the KVS, the Royal Dutch association for economists. In addition to the medal, Jan Stoop also receives a cash prize of 5,000 euros.
