Behavioral Decision Making in Operations Management: Operations Management, Accounting, and People

Marc Wouters is Professor of Management Accounting at the University of Twente, School of Business and Public Administration. He is currently head of the department of Finance & Accounting. Before joining the University of Twente in 2001, Marc Wouters worked at Eindhoven University of Technology (1996-2001), Ernst & Young Management Consultants (1993-1996), and the University of Maastricht (1993-1996). He stayed as a visiting scholar at Stanford University, School of Engineering, in 1999 to 2000. Dr Wouters holds an MSc and PhD in industrial engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, and an MA in economics from Tilburg University. He has been published in Dutch and international journals such as Production Planning and Control, International Journal of Production Economics, Management Accounting Research, Accounting and Business Research, Accounting Horizons, Accounting, Organizations and Society, and Interfaces. He has worked with many profit and not-for-profit organizations, both in the Netherlands and internationally.
