Programme

Prior the training

You will prepare your own case and set a personal learning goal. This preparation will help the trainers to tailor-make the learning experience to your needs.

Because your actual development happens in the workplace, you are asked to put the gained knowledge and experience into practice after the training. So at the end of each training day, you will set your personal goal for the workplace.

Overall description of each training day

  • Our brain and influence
  • Model of influence
  • Personal and content related influencing forces: styles and arguments
  • How to use (non-)verbal behaviour effectively
  • Genuinely  connecting with the other
  • Practice styles and tactics in influencing conversations
  • Mindset: looking differently at influencing situations
  • Principles of influencing; 'Marketing' in influencing situations

The emphasis is on being aware, doing things (differently) and feedback on your behaviour. A case from your everyday practice forms the basis for  the exercises and for trying out new behaviour with a training actor. By practising theoretical models and practical tools, observing others, and by giving and receiving feedback from the trainer, the training actor and other participants, you will learn to influence more effectively and to get things done.
