Abstract

Current and emerging themes on organizational learning will be discussed. Organizational learning is defined as a change in the organizations knowledge that occurs as a function of experience. Research themes discussed include: characterizing organizational experience at a fine-grained level; understanding organizational learning processes; studying how the organizational context affects learning processes and outcomes; analyzing knowledge creation, retention and transfer; developing the implications of organizational learning and knowledge transfer for entrepreneurship; understanding  organizational learning at different levels of analysis.
