Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management
The mission of the Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management is to publish original, high-quality research within the field of purchasing and supply management (PSM). The Journal ensures that high quality research is collected and disseminated widely to both academics and practitioners, and provides a forum for debate. It covers all subjects relating to the purchase and supply of goods and services in industry, trade, government and the service sector. The journal is effectively positioned as a multi-disciplinary journal, focusing on a particular set of study objects rather than a specific discipline. The journal is clearly focused on the context in purchasing and supply management, and is liberal with respect to the method and style of research and the level of problem addressed. Key topics include:
- Purchasing and supply in a strategic context
- Organisational buying behaviour
- Make-or-buy/outsourcing strategy
- Global/international sourcing
- Supplier relationships
- Tendering and contracting
- Costing and pricing
- Negotiation
- Purchasing and supply organisation
- Information & communication technology (ICT)
- Social, ethical and environmental supply issues
- Supply chain management
- Public procurement
