Dr. X. (Xena) Welch Guerra
Xena Welch Guerra is Assistant Professor at the Department of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Her research interest lies in the area of Corporate and Behavioral Strategy, with particular emphasis on Mergers and Acquisitions.
She completed her PhD at the University of St.Gallen, where it was awarded with the Peter-Werhahn-Preis for the best dissertation of the year. She received several grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation and was a visiting scholar at INSEAD Singapore and the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. She has published in the Journal of Management and served as Rep-at-Large for the Corporate Strategy IG of the Strategic Management Society.
At RSM, Xena teaches courses on Corporate Strategy, coordinates the Research Clinic of the MSc programs in Strategic Management and Strategic Entrepreneursip, and is a member of the Faculty Council.
