NCA workshop at Oxford University

Zsofia Toth and Jan Dul delivered an NCA workshop at Oxford University (Nuffield College) discussing the necessary condition logic and its application to social network theory.

The participants were professors and PhD candidates with backgrounds in economics, sociology, statistics, and management, amongst others. The discussions were about causality/falsification, effects of measurement error and outliers on NCA outcomes, the differences/complementarity of NCA and OLS, etc. Many potential necessary conditions in social networks were identified.
