Well attended NCA workshop at the British Academy of Management

More than 30 participants attended the Professional Development Workshop (PDW) on NCA at the 30th annual conference of the British Academy of Management (BAM) in Newcastle, UK. Jan Dul (Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University) presented the logic and data analysis approach of NCA, and Zsófia Tóth (Nottingham University Business School) facilitated a discussion amongst the participants about potential necessary condition in their fields. It turned out that participants were able to formulate many potentially relevant necessary conditions in their research fields, confirming Gary Goertz’ first law: “for any research area one can find important necessary condition hypotheses.”
