First NCA study in Medicine
The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease has published a paper that uses NCA to study motivation in people with schizophrenia. The journal, founded in 1874, is the world's oldest independent scientific monthly in the field of human behavior, and appears to be the first medical journal to publish a study that uses NCA.

NCA short PhD course at Hamburg Business School
PhD students from three Hamburg universities with backgrounds in marketing, logistics, organizational behavior, and political economics, amongst others, attended a one-day course on NCA, discussing necessary conditions in their respective fields, how to perform an NCA-analysis, and how to publish with NCA.
