Award for best Dutch material handling thesis

The Material Handling Forum and Stichting Logistica have taken the initiative to award the best thesis in the broad domain of material handling (intra logistics). The award will be presented at the upcoming Logistica Fair, on 10-13 November.
All 10 Dutch universities were invited to submit the best master thesis defended in 2014 – March 2015 for this award. At the submission date 1 May 2015 8 theses were submitted. The theses will be judged by jury consisting of both academics and professionals.
Criteria for the award define details for the topic, added value and process. The theses should have a high ambition level and demonstrate creativity in finding new solutions. They also should show added value in topic, process or results and the theses should describe a topic of practical relevance or academic interest and ideally a combination of both.

Finalists will present and defend their thesis at the event. The winner receives € 1.000,- in cash, the runners up receive € 500,-. The winner will be made public at the Logistica Fair on 10-13 November.
