Presentations MHF Seminar 20 May available

The seminar of the Material Handling Forum on 20 May 2015 in the Erasmus University Rotterdam had interesting contributions. Detlef Spee (Frauenhofer IML) reflected on material handling in the light of the 4th industrial revolution. The IML project Inventairy makes drones fly autonomously through the warehouse to trace pallet loads. Aline Stroie (Philips) went over design concepts that can lower cost and speed up transit time of the pick-and-pass system. And third speaker Vincent Kwaks (Vanderlande) gave information about the system Adepto, a shuttle system in three dimensions.
