PREFER Final Meeting

ECMC members Jorien Veldwijk, Vivian Reckers-Droog, and Nicholas Smeele (from left-to-right in photo) attended the final meeting of the IMI PREFER consortium on May 17-18, which was hosted by Uppsala University and took place in Stockholm, Sweden. During this meeting, the PREFER consortium presented the main results and recommendations obtained over the course of six years. Also, future steps and research were discussed among all attendees.

The point of PREFER was to develop evidence-based recommendations on how and when to include patient perspectives on the benefits and risks of medicinal products. The aim was to support the development of guidelines for industry, Regulatory Authorities, HTA bodies, and reimbursement agencies.
