About
The Erasmus Accounting Research Group combines the research activities of the accounting departments of the Erasmus School of Economics and the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The group members’ research interests are concentrated in two main areas: markets-based financial accounting research and behavioural and experimental management accounting research.
The Accounting Research Group has a strong research tradition and an international orientation, as evidenced by publications in top journals, research collaboration with academics at leading international schools, an international seminar series (Erasmus Accounting Seminars), and periodic research conferences. The Group also offers a high-quality accounting Ph.D. program, which is part of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management’s (ERIM) Ph.D. in Management Programme.
Research activities of the Accounting Research Group are supported by Erasmus University’s excellent research facilities, including most major databases (WRDS, CRSP, Compustat, Datastream, Bloomberg, I/B/E/S, TAQ, etc. through the Erasmus Data Service Centre), a state-of-the-art behavioural lab and an experimental economics lab.
