Necessary Condition Analysis

Necessary Condition Analysis (NCA) is a now established approach and data analysis technique for identifying necessary (but not sufficient) conditions in data sets. It is used in the social, medical and technical sciences and can be used as a stand-alone method or to complement regression-based methods or configurational methods like Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA). NCA provides very relevant insights for practice. Recent methodological and substantive publications show that NCA can combine rigor and relevance. Several training options for NCA are available.

If you are interested in publishing with NCA in the field of business research, please have a look at the call for papers (submission window: October 1, 2024 - January 31, 2025).
